Harley Quinn's Revenge (Batman Arkham City DLC)

A DLC episode for Arkham City that should not go amiss, and you know why? Because it's amazing. This review will feature SPOILERS that relate to the end of Batman: Arkham City. I suggest you not read unless you know it all :)

Harley Quinns Revenge is exactly what it says on the tin. Rocksteady has created an "episode" that continues the story for Arkham City and is set after the end of the game. Harley Quinn has taken over the Steel Mill and is in Mourning after the recent death of her beloved Joker. Quinn takes main spotlight here which is a nice refreshing look at her as in AA, she had a minor side roll and in Arkham City she was barely there at all. It's nice to see that Rocksteady took the time to incorporate some form of story for her specifically.

The actual narrative of the game is incredibly compelling, starting with Robin who we did see in the main games campaign but did not get to play as. Here we get full control of Robin and all his gadgets, it's unfortunate that he is not out-with the corridor filled Steel Mill, it would've been nice to get a free roam option for Robin, like there is for Catwoman in the main games story DLC. We are told that Batman has been missing for a few days and Oracle has sent Robin in to check it all out. Robin finds Batmans utility belt and then we switch to Batmans story that shows how he got captured. There isn't much new here that we haven't seen before. All enemies are the same but have a change of outfitting (to change with Harleys mood) and obviously Robin has his own set of gadgets but with Robin you only get to play as him for a very short period of this story.

The story itself is only about an hour and a half in length and doesn't offer much in terms of actual story closure as it almost leaves you with more questions than answers. With a lackluster final boss battle and a minute long ending cut scene it doesn't seem worth the price and has almost no replay value, I would not go as far as to say it was a "disappointment" because it was almost everything I wanted from a DLC package to Arkham City, but in future I would to see more incorporated to the rest of the city and hopefully some more closure to the rest of the side missions that were in Arkham City, Harley Quinns Revenge has almost no references to the main game and no Easter eggs which is a huge disappointment as it's what makes exploring interesting but none-the-less, it's a great addition to the game and you should definitely try to download it. (Maybe in a sale which then will have the price is so rightly deserves)

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey

The Assassins Creed main series is verging on 12 games and Odyssey is the latest in the massive Creed franchise. Hot off the heels of 2018's Egyptian Adventure, AC: Origins. Odyssey for the main part takes all of Origins mechanics and tweaks them to fit the Ancient Grecian setting. For the first time in the series you can actually choose the character you want to play as through the main story. Choose either Kassandra or Alexios to unravel a massive island spanning Spartan story featuring love, betrayal, loss and redemption. I chose Kassandra so for the rest of the review I will acknowledge the main character as such, although everything I say can be applied to Alexios too. When I originally started Oddyssey I actually rolled Alexios but his voice acting was so laughably forced that I then decided to start again as Kassandra and it did not disappoint. That's not to say we wont be seeing Alexios but we'll get to that shortly. The story begins on the mountaintop peaks

Ratchet and Clank (2016) Review

The PlayStation Pro was released on November 10th and with it came a bunch of "Pro enabled features" in many existing titles including; Elder Scrolls Skyrim, Uncharted 4, Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and of course, Ratchet and Clank. In the game you play as main protagonist Ratchet, a Lombax from the planet Veldin who's dream is to be part of the Galactic Rangers with his hero Captain Quark. When a defect robot is discovered within a factory upon the planet Quartu he is then designated to be destroyed ("No Disassemble!!). When the cute little robot escapes the factory on the planet Quartu he coincidentally causes into Veldin where Ratchet comes across him and names him Clank. And then there adventure together starts as Clank needs to inform the Galactic Rangers of the evil Chairman Drex's plans to destroy the solar system. Gameplay is primarily broken into two segments, you have exploratory sections which makes up most of the game, these feature both Ratchet

Surely PlayStation can’t get any better than that? On January 21 st , 1998 the most anticipated sequel to the best-selling survival horror game of all time, Resident Evil 2 was released. Now, how exactly do you follow up the critical hit that was Resident Evil? Resident Evil 2 was directed by Hideki Kamiya and produced by Shinji Mikami, who directed the original Resident Evil, and featured a troubled development feature over 50 members of staff over around 21 months. Development started one month after Resident Evil was released in early 1996 and was first shown at the “V-Jump Festival” in July of that year. This was the publics first look at what would later be dubbed by the community as “Resident Evil 1.5” as it featured a similar narrative to the first game as two months after
